LOS ANGELES – Dylan Floro and Justin Turner did their part, but it wasn't enough as the Milwaukee Brewers blanked the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-0 in game three of the National League Championship Series, Monday evening at Dodger Stadium.
Floro entered in the ninth inning and did his job, pitching one scoreless frame, while allowing a hit, a walk and recorded a strikeout. Turner also got his night started in the ninth to help get a rally going for the Dodgers. After Floro kept things at 4-0 in the ninth, Turner provided a leadoff single to begin the bottom of the ninth on a full count.
Turner eventually found himself at third base after a double by his teammate Manny Machado, but unfortunately, he was stranded there.
LA will try and even up the series tomorrow, as it'll host game four at 6:09 pm PT. The game will be televised on FS1.
