HOUSTON – Former Titans Justin Turner and Chris Devenski both made their impacts in what went down as the second highest scoring postseason game and second longest World Series game, Sunday evening at Minute Maid Park. However, in the end it was the Houston Astros outlasting the Los Angeles Dodgers 13-12 in 10 innings in Game 5 of the World Series.

The Astros now hold a 3-2 advantage in the series and have a chance to clinch the title as the teams will head back to Los Angeles for a Game 6 on Tuesday at 5 pm PT.

Turner was productive as the designated hitter, going 1-of-4 from the plate, while drawing two walks and scoring two runs on the evening to go along with a double. Each of Turner's two walks on the night ended up turning into runs, as he drew a one out walk in the first before Logan Forsythe came through with a two-out base hit to score two runs and put the Dodgers on top 2-0. Turner scored to give Los Angeles its second run of the game.

Turner drew his second walk of the game in the fifth, taking first base on a 3-1 count. He later scored on a Cody Bellinger three-run jack, as the Dodgers reclaimed the lead at 7-4 after the Astros had put up a four spot just an inning earlier to tie the game.

Turner blasted a ball on a 3-2 count to center that nearly left the yard to begin the seventh. However it would end up going down as a double.

Devenski also made his fourth appearance of the World Series and actually had an opportunity to become the first Titan to ever record a World Series save. Unfortunately, after retiring the first two batters he faced, he couldn't finish the deal. He got Andre Ethier to ground out to first to end the eighth and then struck out Forsythe to begin the ninth, but then a magical three-run rally by the Dodgers eventually pushed the game to extra innings.

Overall, Devenski went 1.1 innings, surrendered three runs and three hits while striking out one.
