Meet Central (Schedule/Heat Sheets)
FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton women's indoor track and field returns to the University of Washington's Dempsey Indoor once again to compete in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Championships. Competition begins on Friday at 12 p.m. PT and on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.

In addition to the host Washington Huskies, CSF will compete against Arizona, Arizona State, BYU, CSUN, California, Colorado, Hawai'i, Long Beach State, Oregon, Oregon State, Portland, San Francisco, Stanford, UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, UCLA, USC, Utah and Washington State.
Four indoor school records have been broken or tied this season. At the Colorado Invitational, Shelby Noble cleared 12-5.50 (3.80m) in the pole vault to break her previous CSF record of 12-3 (3.75m) set on Feb. 11, 2017. Iesha Hamm won the high jump competition with a personal-best mark of 5-7.25 (1.71m) to tie Ty'Jalayah Robertson's school record set in 2015.
Wendi Leos clocked a 5K time of 17:40.72 at the Husky Classic in her first collegiate 5,000-meter race to break Brianna Jacklin's record of 17:53.49 set in 2017. Also, Laura Hamann broke a 16-year old school record in the triple with a personal-best mark of 40-0.75 (12.21m). The previous record was set by Anna Doty in 2002 at 39-7.75 (12.08m).
Hamm's high jump mark currently ranks 11th in the MPSF for the season while Noble's pole vault clearance ranks her 15th. Hamann has the ninth-best triple jump mark for the conference. The Titans 4x400-meter relay team of Tyler Hardge, Zuri Henderson, Fanny Giron and Kiana Clay posted the No. 13 ranked time in the MPSF at 3:50.58. CSF has the No. 10 distance medley relay time at 12:02.34 set by Sandra Flores, Fanny Giron, Samantha Huerta and Wendi Leos.
With the 2018 season underway, cross country and track and field head coach John Elders enters his 30th season at the helm of each program making him the longest tenured head coach in the history of Cal State Fullerton. Cal State Fullerton won the 2017 Big West Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championships, the first conference title in program history.
