FULLERTON, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton indoor track and field team will wrap up its 2014 indoor season at the Boise State Team Challenge this Saturday at the Jackson Indoor Facility in Boise, Idaho.

The Titans will send 21 athletes this weekend to compete in 12 events before the outdoor season begins on March 8 in Riverside, Calif. Fullerton is set to compete against host Boise State, Utah State, Eastern Oregon, Nevada, Utah Valley, and many more.

As the Titans head into the final meet of the indoor season, the team has recorded four new school records, set multiple personal bests, and even competed in two events for the first time in school history, pentathlon and distance medley relay.

The distance runners also recorded their fastest 3000-meter run of the season as Katie Bathgate finished 14th with a time of 10:22.65.

For the first time since the New Mexico Cherry and Silver Collegiate on Jan. 24-25 the weight throwers (Amanda Mercado and Alexandria Kemp) and pole vaulters (Bryn Williamson and Kimberly Amaya) will compete.

Fullerton is also set to compete in the 4x400m relay this weekend with a team of Wilson, Brown, Ashley Sims, Deena Pierce, Alexandria Stewart, Alexis Stewart, and Tigest Nealy.
