Cal State Fullerton Athletics

Justin Hostert returned to Cal State Fullerton in January, 2017 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer.  His primary sport is Titan Baseball.

In a comparatively short amount of time, Hostert has gained a great deal of practical experience in his field.  Prior to returning to CSUF, Hostert was an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Fort Wayne (Indiana) TinCaps from 2015 to 2016.  The TinCaps are a Class A affiliate of the San Diego Padres Major League Baseball club.  From 2015-116, Hostert was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Cal State Fullerton.  He worked primarily with the Baseball team.  Since 2009, he also works three Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) events per year as an Associate Athletic Trainer for Justin Sports Medicine.  Hostert spent the summer of 2012 as an Athletic Training Intern with the Los Angeles Angels of Major League Baseball.

Hostert received his B.S. in Athletic Training from Cal State Fullerton in 2013.  Additionally, he received his M.S. in Kinesiology with a concentration in Clinical Exercise Science from Cal State Fullerton in 2015.

Active as a community volunteer, Hostert has received awards from the College of Health and Human Development and Kinesiology, and from the Fullerton Rotary Club.  Since 2002 he has been a Lead Volunteer for CSUF's annual Donate Life Run / Walk event.

Born and raised in Fullerton, Hostert currently resides in Costa Mesa.
