Clara Bowman has been the Human Resources Specialist for Titan Athletics since July, 2017, and is responsible for full cycle recruitment, payroll, policies, procedures and process improvements.
Bowman has had a long and varied career in the CSU system, with stops in Cal State Fullerton Financial Services, the Cal State Long Beach College of Business, and Cal State Dominguez Hills Athletics.
A two-time graduate of Cal State Dominguez Hills, Bowman received her B.A. in Political Science with a Minor in Business Administration in 2003. In 2007 she received her M.P.A. with a Human Resources concentration in 2007. She has twice been honored for her work at Cal State Fullerton, receiving the Titan Excellence Award in 2009, and was a University Teamwork and Collaboration Award nominee in 2017.
A native of Louisiana, Bowman has a daughter (Fantasia), a son (Tylan), and a niece (Aniya) for whom she acts as guardian. She loves singing and writing poetry. She loves kids and chocolate... Equally! And she loves cheering for our Titan student-athletes at our sporting events!
