Cal State Fullerton Athletics

Kyle Burnett returmed to Cal State Fullerton as an assistant athletic trainer for the men's basketball program in the fall of 2014 after having served in a similar capacity at Fresno State. There he also worked with the men's and women's tennis teams and with the equestrian program. In 2022, Burnett was named an assistant athletic director of sports medicine. 

Kyle completed his master's degree in Kinesiology from Cal State Fullerton in 2012 and during his graduate program he assisted with the Titans baskeball team. His undergraduate degree, in Sport Sciences, Athletic Training, is from the University of the Pacific and he graduated there in 2009. During his undergraduate years he also worked with the Tigers women's basketball program as an athletic training intern.
